Thoroughly enjoyed my SUCH WONDERFUL stay for holidays. I had spotless room with decent shower facilities. The location was amazing, close to Petani Beach Chalet. There were local markets and a market around the hotel. There was a great restaurant for dinner in the property.

Airy & neat unit with fantastic balconies. Nice interior design. Location near the water taxi, an island and the sea and beatifull coral reef.

The knowledgeable staff accommodated all the needs.

The breakfast was included in the price, it's always a plus:)))

The chic suite at Alunan Resort was absolutely stunning! The open-floor concept with connecting bedding and wardrobe spaces created a pleasant and spacious atmosphere. It felt modern and stylish, perfect for someone like me who enjoys contemporary design.

Personally, I found the floor-to-ceiling glass panels a bit overwhelming, as I prefer more privacy. But I understand that others might enjoy the stunning views they offer.

Booked a triple room with balconies. Coffee & tea making facilities and a fridge were available too.

The restaurant was great for dinner here, I had excellent dishes. Also, location was stunning and beautiful, not very far from Petani Beach Chalet.

the vibe here was family. the room was stylish and spotless with refrigerator and proper air con, as example, we felt like at home. extremely friendly and fantastically friendly staff from most general staff to general manager, everything was very good.

our summer stay at alunan was absolutely amazing! the friendly and accommodating staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. the breakfasts were delicious and the cocktails, especially justin's margaritas, were the best we've ever had. the room was spacious with a breathtaking view and we loved snorkeling with sharks, turtles, and colorful fish. can't recommend alunan enough!

beach could use some cleaning

This hotel is located on a secluded beach in the smaller of the two Perhentian islands, which provides a peaceful and exclusive retreat. The view of the resort, set in white against the green of the jungle, is simply spectacular. The rooms are spacious and clean, with fantastic balconies or private terraces. The attention to detail is evident, from the decent shower facilities to the great rooftop balconies. Additionally, the breakfast provided is tasty and satisfying.

The construction work next door is not finished and doesn't look nice.

Got 2 complementary cocktails which was nice. the beach was clean and had crystal clear water to swim in. the sunsets were also really beautiful to watch.

The food was not great and was overpriced, and there weren't many options to choose from. the staff seemed disorganized and unprepared to handle the Christmas crowd, and we had to wait for a long time to check-in.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. the value for money was exceptional. For the price we paid, we got so much more than we expected. The prices at the hotel were very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and level of service provided. Additionally, the location of this hotel at the top of a hill on the island was perfect. It offered stunning views of the surroundings and provided a sense of peace and privacy. Finally, the rooms by the terrace were amazing. They were spacious, comfortable, and offered breathtaking views of the surroundings.

We had an unforgettable snorkeling experience at Alunan Resort. The coral reefs surrounding the island were teeming with vibrant fish in all shapes and sizes. The crystal clear water provided the perfect backdrop for exploring the underwater world. I would highly recommend this resort for any water activity enthusiasts.

We enjoyed the quiet location of the hotel, away from the hustle and bustle. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view. We appreciated the hotel's eco-friendly program and the informative marine biologist.

The hotel food and drinks were overpriced, and limited options nearby. The uphill walk to the hotel can be tiring, especially for elderly couples.

Secluded private beach, helpful staff, amazing snorkelling, wildlife sightings, great food and excursions, value for money.
